We want everyone to be able to track a parcel on parcelprogress.com. This statement describes the accessibility of the website, based on our own assessment.
What we have done
- Text and controls meet the contrast requirements of WCAG 2.2 level AA in light and in dark mode.
- Every form field has a visible label, and hints and error messages are linked to their field.
- Error messages and status changes of the lookup form are announced to screen readers.
- Every function can be used with the keyboard alone, and the focused control shows a clear outline.
- The website follows your system's light or dark colour scheme, and you can switch it in the header.
- Every page declares its language, and the scan history is a table with column headings.
Known limitations
- There is no link to skip from the header to the main content. The header has few controls, and the main content is marked as the main region of the page.
- On narrow screens the scan history is laid out row by row, and some screen readers may then not announce it as a table.
- The addresses of the legal pages are in German in both languages.
